Botanical garden located in the forest called “Obora”, in the north-eastern part of Racibórz.
The Arboretum is a type of botanical garden for cultivating trees and bushes, where in addition to scientific activities, educational tasks are also carried out. The Moravian Gate Arboretum is located in the 163 hectare forest called ”Obora”, and the Arboretum itself spreads across an area of 35 hectares. It is an exceptional place, as it is one of the warmest areas in Poland. On top of that, the area - varied by ravines, ponds and springs - part of which is an old-growth forest, gives walks in the garden a somewhat mysterious atmosphere.
A few well-maintained and described educational paths have been marked out in the Arboretum. There is also a mini-zoo, a fitness trail, and the ”Enchanted Garden” created in 2011.
