Privacy Policy and use of cookies at tourism-pl-cz.eu
The website was created as part of the project titles Cultural and Natural Heritage for the Development of the Border Region of Poland and the Czech Republic “Shared Heritage”, which is co-financed from the European Regional Development Funds under the INTERREG V-A Czech Republic-Poland programme for the years 2014–2020.
By using the tourism-pl-cz.eu website, you accept this Privacy Policy and the provisions on personal data protection set out in Regulation on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR).
Data collection
Partners of the Project attach particular importance to respecting the privacy of users who access tourism-pl-cz.eu. The data collected in logs shall be used solely for the purpose of website administration. No identification data shall be transmitted to third parties (for any purpose). In accordance with the practice adopted by the majority of websites, we shall store HTTP requests submitted to our server. The browsed resources shall be identified on the basis of URLs. Information stored in the log files of the web server shall include:
- the public IP address of the computer which submitted the request,
- the time the request was received,
- the HTTP response code,
- the number of bytes sent by the server,
- information about the user’s browser,
- information on errors in HTTP transactions
The data shall not be associated with the particular individuals who access the website. In order to ensure the highest quality of service, we shall analyse log files on an occasional basis to determine which pages are accessed the most frequently, which browsers the users use, whether the website structure features any errors, etc.
The collected logs shall be stored for an indefinite time as auxiliary materials for the purposes of administration of tourism-pl-cz.eu. The information contained therein shall not be revealed to anyone other than persons authorised to manage the server and the network. The log files may be used to generate statistics constituting aid in administration. Summaries in the form of such statistics contain no features identifying the persons who visit the website.
Acceptance of this Privacy Policy shall be understood as consent to the processing of the above-mentioned data.

Users who have accepted the Privacy Policy and thus expressed consent to the processing of the above-mentioned data shall have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
The data shall not be made available to other entities, except for entities authorised under the law, or transferred to third countries or international organisations. The data shall not be subject to profiling.
Cookies
Cookies are text files stored on the computer, smartphone or any other device used by the User to access tourism-pl-cz.eu. Usually, these files contain the name of the website from which they come, the duration of storage on the end device and a unique number.
Cookies are used to adjust the content of web pages to the user’s preferences and optimise website use. In particular, these files render it possible to identify the User’s device and display the website as adjusted to the User’s individual needs. They are also used to create anonymous, aggregate statistics, which help to understand how the user uses the web pages, which in turn renders it possible to improve their structure and content, excluding personal identification of the user. By default, software used to browse the Internet allows storage of cookies on the end device. The setting can be changed in the web browser settings to block automatic handling of cookies or to inform the user each time they are sent to the user’s device. Detailed information on the possibility and methods of handling cookies can be found in the software (web browser) settings.
Failure to block cookies shall be understood as consent to use and storage thereof in the device’s memory.
Amendments
In the event of amendment to the Privacy Policy, relevant modifications shall be made to the foregoing.
