The first spa season at the Bohdaneč spa started in 1897.
The main building block for the treatment is the rare peat, the age of which has been estimated at four thousand years. The bog baths have a beneficial effect on the musculoskeletal system. It is the only spa in the Czech Republic which use special wrapping baths, which make the patient feel weightless and absolutely relaxed, to apply the peat. Nowadays, the spa complex also enjoys significant public interest thanks to the unique architecture of the Gočár Pavilion and a number of cultural events.
