It’s a sled dog ride organised not only for mushers, but also for visitors and people who love dogs, dog sports and everything that is connected to nature.
Since 1997, in the last week of January, one of the most difficult sled dog rides has been organised in Deštné v Orlických horách. Each year, around 700 sled dogs and over 100 mushers from different countries of Europe. Competitors have to cover either a 200 km-long, four-stage route or a 300 km-long, five-stage route with the total difference in altitude of over 10 km.
