Fairs on the border is a traditional event taking place annually since 2008 at the former border crossing Chałupki – Bohumín.
Here, collectors from across Poland and the Czech Republic present their “treasures” to interested buyers. Also, local residents who want to get rid of unnecessary, but valuable things such as porcelain, home appliances or furniture take part in the event. During the fair anybody can sell something. “Fairs on the border” takes place twice a year – the first one held on the second Sunday in May, and the second in mid-September. It is organized by Krzyżanowice Commune.
