A harvest festival is a gathering of residents aiming at reminding them the traditional folklore and strengthening the bonds between the residents of Písek and neighbouring communes.
The Písek Harvest Festival is an annual event commemorating the cultural heritage of the commune and the region. The Harvest Festival is inaugurated by consecration of a harvest wreath, then an extensive cultural program is launched, with performances of children bands, as well. There are also food stands and a program for children.
