A national heritage monument. A baroque complex of buildings of old baths, palace and a hospital (a shelter), with the St Trinity Church and a baroque pharmacy by the monastery preserved in an original form, built at the end of the 17th century.
The main sightseeing tour leads through the rooms of the hospital in Kuks, among others, the main hall of the old hospital, the St Trinity Church, the sacristy, and the baroque pharmacy. The paintings on the walls depict F. A. Špork.
You can also admire here wall paintings with the “Danse Macabre” motif. A series of fifty paintings depict the equality of people in the face of death. And in the lapidarium, you can see the originals of the Allegory of Virtue and Vice by the most prominent Czech, baroque sculptor, Matthias Bernard Braun.
It is also worth visiting the Czech Museum of Pharmacy with a rare, old pharmacy. The hospital has also a garden, where medicinal herbs and plants are cultivated, as well as a fruit orchard.
In the years of 2013–2015, the baroque complex, the garden and the adjacent farm buildings underwent thorough renovation.
