The Museum, opened in 2016, is one of the few of its kind in Europe.
It presents the history of Polish song from the 1920s up to the present day. Fully interactive, with two musical walls functioning as multimedia players, it welcomes lovers of music and of the Opole festival.
Kids will find here amazing things – a wardrobe full of costumes, recording booths, virtual mirrors that allow them to dress up, tablet islands, touch walls, sound postcards and even a special room with the electronic percussion! For sure, they will not be bored and the little artists can show off their creativity and talent. There are numerous temporary and outdoor exhibitions, but you can also go to the Little Song Academy, museum lessons and music workshops. The museum is a member of the interactive museums’ network – Nowe Muzeum.
