The Kladruber horse, a national cultural monument with a history of more than four hundred years, is a living legend in Eastern Bohemia.
This involves a ceremonial breed, which is greatly prized among the imperial and royal courts of Europe due to its majestic appearance. Its home is the National Stud at Kladruby nad Labem, where the Kladruber greys are bred, while the black Kladrubers are bred at the nearby Slatiňany Stud.
Furthermore in 2019 the landscape monument zone of Kladrubské Polabí was registred in the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO as the Landscape For Breeding And Training of Ceremonial Carriage Horses at Kladruby nad Labem.
