The symbolic start of the Treasures of the Broumov Region festival is on 1st May with a benefit concert in Broumov Monastery. The opening concert will be held on 1st May 2023 at 6 p.m. in Broumov Monastery.

Christmas at the zoo begins on 17 December! Dozens of illuminated decorations in the shape of animals, a number of original Christmas trees and a huge Christmas baobab, lit up every day before nightfall, will add to the atmosphere while your stroll through the gardens. Weather permitting, you’ll also encounter cheetahs, elephants, rhinos and a number of antelopes.

The advent market is taking place on Saturday 26 November 2022 on the square Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad. Locals and visitors from far and wide can look forward to the official lighting of the Christmas tree, many stands with various goods and refreshments including regional products, plus an extensive cultural programme.
